Christmas ramblings

It's indeed strange, Christmas this year. It seems to have been reduced to just like any other holiday (i.e. Bonifacio Day) wherein people do not essentially celebrate it, but are thankful anyway because of the day off that comes with it. Haay.

An inspiring insight comes from the pamilia de cariton, the family on wheels. It is actually depressing to see a whole family living together in a push cart, gathering trash, salvaging whatever food from the garbage together. They spend the night in whatever safe, dark nook or corner they can find in the city, exposed to all the elements. But what is inspiring about them is that they are together, and they stay together through it all. Somehow, they manage, they laugh, they go on, because though they have nothing, they have each other. Far better than those who have everything, but have no one.

On the brighter side of things, I got to spend time with a lot of friends this Xmas break. It's super steady I cannot even work on school stuff. Boo. Puro kain, tulog, gala, kain, tulog. Hahaha! Oh and I think I got fat... ok ok, gained weight. I also hab 2 puppies! Whee! Thanx Mike and Cosmos! Yey!!! :D

I went to school with Cosmos today, and guess who we saw! Ogs! Haha, of all people! Akalain mo 'yon, saktong stop and we were in the car and he was about to cross the street, then I thought this guy looks awfully familiar, so I called him, tas he went over to the car and had a lil chitchat with us pa. Laff trip.:D Then after having attended a worthless waste-of-time-talk this morning, I met up with Dwight (my all-day buddy, haha) to fix some school stuff and headed to Megamall to have lunch. Lately I have been eating like a pig, I don't know why. Haha. We ate at Sbarro and I had baked ziti. Then I started craving for salmon sashimi and so we went to Sushi Mart for that. Yey!:D After that we went to Chanelay Mansions near GMA to fix his unfinished (and unfurnished) condo. Then from there went to my place to get some CD's then off to Starbucks where we even saw UAP people like Jinggoy, Crissy, and Selle. I had a mocha frap and oreo cheesecake. Yey again. Funny, we even saw this Atenean high school kid who looked really hot. Shhhh. Sorry but he is hotness. He kinda looks like Squall (sp?). Yea there. Hahahaha! Cradle snatcher ampotch.^_^ Then we went to UP and ate - again. I had a lot of isaw. Yey!!! Panalo talaga isaw ng UP whoohoo!

And yes, we have a paper that we should be - and should have been - working on. Ang hirap pag naka-Christmas break mode na.. Haay... x_X

I'm just really looking forward to a lot of upcoming Christmas parties and gigs, yey!!!
